From July 1, 2023 retrieving e-prescriptions via the social security number alone is NO longer possible! E-prescriptions can be retrieved as described below:
- Printing of the e-prescription receipt (paper) by the doctor
- Electronic transmission of the QR code of the prescription to the pharmacy
- Electronic transmission of the e-prescription ID to the pharmacy
- Electronic transmission of the e-prescription receipt to the pharmacy via the report transmission network (DaMe / Medicalnet)
You can also register yourself via the ELGA portal and retrieve the e-prescriptions issued to you, print them or send them to the pharmacy in digital form. When transmitting e-prescriptions it is important that the QR code is easy to read or that the e-prescription ID is complete.
